Your consent

By agreeing with this Privacy Policy, you give your consent for your Personal Data to be used for fulfilling your orders, regardless of whether you order printing and/or services directly from us or our partners who sell our printing/provide our services; you also agree that your Personal Data may be transferred to our partners that provide delivery services to you.

You give us the right to collect, manage, process and store your Personal Data in such scope and for such purposes as provided for in this Privacy Policy and any other of our documents.

Collection of information

UAB Verslo Žinios follows the Republic of Lithuania Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data, the General Data Protection Regulation and other relevant legislation. Information on customers specified further herein is collected by the Verslo Žinios divisions of Subscription, Communication Services, B2B Events, and the following websites:

We collect data on our customers using:

  • telemarketing and registration forms,
  • when you buy our goods or use our services,
  • when you provide details about yourself on the internet or in any other manner.

Data which might be collected for the purpose of providing services:

  • name, surname, address, email, phone number – for the purpose of subscription to printed publications;
  • name, surname, email – for the purpose of subscription to free or paid electronic publications or when registering for an event;
  • name, surname, email, CV – for the purpose of a job offer.

Details of a customer’s email and phone are processed for the purpose of direct marketing.

If you visit our websites, we also collect information which reveals details on the particularities of use of our services or statistics of visits which is generated automatically. For more details read Use of cookies.

We process your IP addresses when we administer our websites, the contents placed on them and when forecasting any potential failures.

Use of personal data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • to handle orders, registration and inquiries,
  • to provide services you order – when managing access to services, sending newsletters, providing your CVs to employers (if you gave your consent),
  • to send you information about our goods and services (if you gave your consent to receive such information),
  • to send you information about job offers, if you have ordered such service on our job offer website.

We also use your aggregated personal data (so that it is impossible to identify a specific user name, surname or company name):

  • to describe our customer portrait,
  • when communicating with advertising agencies,
  • when performing a website audit.

We undertake to never transfer your personal data to any non-related third parties, except for the following cases:

  • if we have your consent to disclose Personal Data;
  • when providing services to our partners you provide printing delivery or any other services you order. Direct marketing

We make every effort to ensure that our customers are the first to learn any information of interest to them: special offers by Verslo Žinios, news and services.

Your email address or the phone number you have provided for the purpose of direct marketing may be used on the basis of your consent given when ordering services from Verslo Žinios and/or on the basis of legitimate interest only in cases when you have not refused to received offers from Verslo Žinios.

You can withdraw your consent any time when placing an order on or on your account by clicking the corresponding link on the account service page of the website and thus expressing your objection to the processing of your personal data. If you no longer want your personal data to be processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you can change your account settings by clicking the corresponding link on the account service page of the website or by following the link at the bottom of your email “Unsubscribe”. You have the right to access your personal data, to object to your personal data being processed for the purpose of direct marketing without providing the reasons for objection, also to request in writing to rectify your incorrect, undetailed, inaccurate personal data.

Duration of information storage

We will store your personal data as long as this is needed to fulfil the goals set forth in this Privacy Policy. Your data will be stored no longer than three years from your last log-in to your account for the purpose of job offers; your data will be stored no longer than three years for the purpose of registration for events or subscription to publications and direct marketing, unless laws provide for or allow a longer period of personal data storage.

Notwithstanding the duration of information storage mentioned above, we have the right to store your Personal Data in the server as long as necessary, if your provided data was (i) was taken advantage of for illegal activities or (ii) there is suspicion that identity theft or any other offence was committed due to which an investigation was or will be conducted by respective law enforcement institutions, (iii) if we receive complaints in relation to a respective customer or if we have noticed any violations of the Rules committed by a respective customer or (iv) in the event of existence of any other legitimate purposes for storing Personal Data. This data is destroyed, if any such legal direction is received from law enforcement or other authorised institutions.

Your rights

You have the right to get access to your Personal data upon presentation of your identity document (to identify you, you have to provide your passport of a citizen of the Republic of Lithuania, an identity card or driving licence). To find out what Personal Data we have collected or obtained and from what sources, for what purposes it is processed, to what recipients it was provided and submitted over the last 1 (one) year (you can see this information in your account on or whether all your Personal Data is detailed and correct, you must address us from  email you provided to us. Once we receive your enquiry, we will reply telling you of any Personal Data we have processed and will provide you with the details you ask for within 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date of receipt of your request. Pursuant to this provision, data is provided free of charge once in a calendar year.

You also have the right to:

  • request to rectify your Personal Data, when it is inaccurate and/or incomplete;
  • request to restrict processing of your Personal Data until we check its accuracy. In such case, during the period of personal data restriction you will not be allowed to purchase our goods and/or receive our services;
  • request to receive your processed personal data automatically in a systematised machine-readable format which is usually used. Pursuant to this provision, data is provided free of charge once in a calendar year;
  • to lodge a request to us in writing, by email or phone, objecting to the processing of your personal data and requesting that we eliminate your personal accounts and stop processing of your Personal Data, when Personal Data is processed without following the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data and provisions of any other laws, except for the cases specified in the Privacy Policy;
  • immediately express your disagreement or lodge a notification of disagreement that your Personal Data be used for the purposes of direct marketing later. Any request or direction in relation to processing of Personal Data must be provided to us in writing in one of the following ways:
